Overview
KTM (Kronreif & Trunkenpolz Mattighofen) was founded in 1934 by Hans Trunkenpolz in Mattighofen, Austria. Initially an auto repair shop, KTM evolved into Europe's largest motorcycle manufacturer and a global leader in off-road motorcycling.
KTM is defined by its distinctive orange livery and the "Ready to Race" philosophy. From dominating the Dakar Rally for two decades to its rapid rise in MotoGP, KTM has established itself as the most successful European motorcycle manufacturer outside Italy.
